2013 Chevrolet Cruze Diesel *Update*

If you remember, I mentioned before about a 2013 Diesel Cruze coming to the US as a 2013 model.  You can check out that article here.  Don’t worry!  As of now, they are still coming!

The Diesel Cruze will provide customers a whole new and exciting driving experience!  This vehicle will offer more miles per gallon along with more power per gallon than the current gasoline model!  Because GM is already a leader in cutting-edge diesel technologies, customers interested in this diesel model will have peace of mind with the engine in this car!  Chevrolet delivered more than 500,000 diesel vehicles with 33,000 of those diesel Cruzes last year alone!

Testing for these vehicles has already begun for the unique driving metrics of American Drivers, and they have been testing them from -40 degrees Fahrenheit all the way to 158 degrees with altitudes reach 10,000 feet!

Pierpaolo Antonioli, managing director of the Torino Powertrain and Engineering Center said,

“We’re able to put the diesel engines through rigorous testing to ensure they operate optimally under a wide range of conditions and also can be integrated seamlessly into the production vehicle.  We’ve pushed these engines in the labs so that the customers can depend on them in real-world driving situations.”

I think that these vehicles are going to be really great in both power, distance and practicality at the pump!  What do you think?  Do you think you would be interested in buying a Diesel Cruze?
