2012 Chevy Cruze Gets Upgrades!

Today GM released a press release that the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze will be getting 2 mpg better!  The most popular Cruze, the 6-speed 1.4L Turbo will get 38 mpg as compared to 36 for the 2011 Cruze.  The Cruze Eco automattic will get 39 as opposed to the earlier 37 mpg model!  The Cruze Eco with the standard six-speed manual transmission remains the most fuel-efficient gas-powered/non-hybrid vehicle in America, with an EPA-rated 42 mpg on the highway.

The $525 Connectivity plus Cruise package will now come standard in the 1LT and Eco model!.  Also, for the 2012 model, all trims of the Cruze will get Keyless entry!  The Eco, LTZ, and 2LT will now get a 7" touchscreen display!

Looks like some big changes for the Cruze!  We should start getting some of these good looking cars before too long!  Make sure you come by your Bossier city and Shreveport Chevy dealership to check them out..  I'll give you a hint.  It's Red River Chevrolet!
